Our Most Booked Italian Program!
If you had to summarize Italy in a nutshell of three cities that best reflected the country’s heritage, culture, gastronomy, architecture, art, monuments, and famous scenery it would be Rome ~ Florence ~ and Venice. The fact that traveling in and out of either Rome or Venice for International flights makes this program flexible/interchangeable depending on how you want to explore the country. Speaking of flexibility, this program is based on our average traveler who has usually this amount of time (9 days) to explore the country. Thus you can always add in an additional day in any city or even plan a few day extension to another region. Speak with our Travel Representatives to learn more about your options. Explore more about the cities within Our Most Booked Italian Program!

Rome
The capital of Italy, Rome. The ancient Romans could have never imagined their city looking like how it does today. Yet it is what these Roman Empires have built, philosophized and created that has attracted millions of people every year to visit. Perhaps the weather, wine and beautiful people have something to do with it too. The saying “All roads lead to Rome”, is very true when it comes to travel in Italy. From it’s convenience for all types of travel, train, plane, car or boat. To its famous sites such as the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St.Peters Basilica, and of course who can forget the Coliseum. With so much to do and see in this amazing city, it can be overwhelming when planning. That’s why we are here, to make the most out of your dream trip.

Florence
While many people have the preconceived notion that they will fall in love with Rome or Venice when they chose this program. Seven out of ten would come back stating that Florence is the place that stole their heart or left the most lasting impression. If you have the extra day/s we typically try and have our travelers take it here. What makes this city so attractive? Well for one, Florence will be much less crowded than Rome or Venice. The atmosphere in general is very laid back. Perhaps this stems from the Rural vineyard workers in the region. Reflecting their calm demeanor throughout the region. This laid-back environment accompanied by some of the world’s best wines might be a core reason to even book the trip.

Venice
We can all picture it now. The intertwining labyrinth of canal’s between typical European row-style buildings. With a couple sitting on a gondola getting serenaded as they casually cruise through the narrow straights of the city. While this picture is lovely it is also important to point out or warn travelers. If you are planning to travel to Venice, always do so ahead of time. As this city gets crowded quickly and accidentally traveling during a flood could also put a damper on things. Since this is one of the most expensive cities in the world you can imagine how upset one could be with having to deal with floods and not being prepared ahead of time. A good note to always make when traveling in Italy especially can be room sizes. Many rooms can be much smaller than what any of us North American travelers are accustomed to.
